RYSA does NOT form school or neighborhood teams.

Due to the size of the program and the need to form as fair and balance a distribution of playing talent among all teams, RYSA will NOT honor carpool requests.

While RYSA will attempt to place your child in your preferred practice area, this is dependent on the availability of coaches in that area.

Refund policy: Once registered, players requesting to drop prior to Jan 22, 2008 will receive a refund for fees paid at registration time less $20. Players requesting to drop after Jan 22, 2008 will not receive a refund.

2008 FALL RECREATION REGISTRATION AND INFORMATION

Grades 1-6 Fall Recreation Soccer will begin the week of September 2, with the first game on September 6 and the league ending on October 11. The teams will be gender specific but we will combine age groups. Grades 1 & 2 will play together, grades 3 & 4, grades 5 & 6. The cost of the fall season is $60 for grades 1-6. Boys will practice on Mondays & Wednesdays. Girls will practice on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Grades 7-12 will again be playing co-ed street soccer. Grades 7 & 8 will play together and grades 9-12 will play together. There are no set teams but games are played every Saturday with a referee. The cost of fall street soccer is $30.

PLEASE REMEMBER RYSA DOES NOT FORM SCHOOL/NEIGHBORHOOD TEAMS NOR DO WE HONOR CAR POOL REQUESTS. Please read the refund policy below before signing up for fall rec soccer.

Recognizing the possibility of physical injury associated with soccer and in consideration for the RYSA accepting the registrant for its soccer programs and activities (the “programs”), I hereby release, discharge and/or otherwise indemnify the RYSA, MYSA, USYSA, its affiliated organizations and sponsors, their employees and associated personnel, including the owners of the fields and facilities utilized for the programs, against any claim by or on behalf of the registrant as result of the registrant’s participation in the programs and/or being transported to or from the same, which transportation I hereby authorize.

RYSA Recreational League Needs You

The RYSA Recreational League is in need of volunteers to fill the following positions:

Age Group Coordinators -- Recruit/assign coaches, form teams, pass along pertinent information to coaches, mediate conflict/questions among coaches, parents and players.

Secretary -- Keeps general records and correspondence, records and distributes committee meeting minutes.

All of the above positions are voting members of the RYSA Recreation League Committee - help us set the direction for recreational soccer in the Zumbro Valley Region.

RYSA Recreation Soccer Rules
The Zumbro Valley Rec Soccer Rules can be found at RYSA Rec Soccer Rules. Note that RYSA Recreation Soccer has removed the "Pulling Player" rule. As coaches, players and parents we are still responsible for keeping the game fun for all participants and should attempt to avoid lopsided games. If you require assistance in this area please contact Neil Cassidy, RYSA Coaching Director.

ALL Coaches and volunteers working with kids will need to fill out and have notarized the "Adult Registration/ Consent form" also known as the Informed Consent/Disclosure Statement form for Risk Assessment.
