Our Philosophy

RYSA’s Rec soccer program is designed to teach players soccer skills, teamwork and sportsmanship in an environment where participation and fun are the focus, not competition. The philosophy of the RYSA Recreational Soccer program is to ensure that all Rochester area youth have the opportunity to learn the game of soccer. The program provides a low-cost, safe and structured soccer experience for all area youth in grades 1-12 and can serve as a starting point before moving to more competitive programs.

HS Developmental League

High School Developmental League Our new High School Developmental League is for boys who will be in grades 9-12 for the 2014-2015 school year. This program is intended for players who plan to participate in their high school's fall soccer program and are NOT already participating in a spring/summer competitive league. There must be enough players registered to form at least 4 teams in order to make the program viable. For the 6 week program, teams will practice in their respective communities twice per week. Practice days and times will be set by the individual teams. Games are held weekly in Rochester on Thursday evenings and are scheduled for June 12, 19, 26 and July 10, 17, and 24. Game times are 5:00pm and 7:00pm. The registration fee for the developmental league is $95 and includes a team t shirt, referees, field rental, and insurance. Online registration ends on May 4th.
